How can gesture help learning?
Children and adults already gesture when communicating – typically without being aware! These gestures often represent ideas, providing a bridge between everyday experiences and more abstract language.
This is why encouraging gestures may make learning more meaningful as well as fun and accessible for children.

The scientific research behind STEM Charades
STEM Charades was designed by Professor Andrew Manches as part of an international project called Move2Learn which brought together learning scientists, science centre practitioners and teachers.
